The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation granted the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Wexner Medica Center 1.48 million dollars to produce workforce safety innovations for industries such as healthcare.

“Wexner Medical Center and Ohio State College of Medicine received a grant that includes support for delivering a validated mind-body health program through wearable devices and smartphones.

The new Mindfulness in Motion exercise prompting system being researched at Ohio State uses biofeedback to trigger program prompts to smartphones – enabling wearers to engage in mind-body interventions that have proven to reduce healthcare workforce burnout.” Via Healthcareitnews
